Chip Coolers provides a mechanical attached heat sink assembly that can be modified to fit any size requirements. The plastic clip is a UL-94 V0 rated material and is designed to snap or slide onto the package by grabbing under the package between the chip and board. A threaded heat sink is then screwed down, making contact with the chip, then torqued to the desired force for a secure, reliable and re-usable attach.

The heat sink can vary from 5/8" to 3.0" in diameter, and from 1/4" to 2.0" in height. It is usable on nearly all non-leaded devices ranging from 1 watt to 60 watts, in the market today.
